A Connecticut Native, graduating from Gateway Community College and Chamberlain College of Nursing in New Jersey, Mary has a rich history of taking pride in treating her patients. Working most of her career in primary care, Mary recently discovered a passion for treating patients suffering from acute and chronic pain. Her compassionate approach, coupled with therapies and treatments, consistently earns her enviable praise among those she helps manage sometimes debilitating conditions.
Deborah Ellison-Medeiros

Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
​Deborah is a Quinnipiac University Graduate, board-certified APRN family nurse practitioner with over 15-years’ experience in healthcare. Her focus is providing unbiased, comprehensive and holistic care while utilizing her medical and psychiatric expertise.
Deborah has worked with all ages of the human spectrum in a variety of settings including office; hospital; sub-acute/long term care; and telehealth.

Melanie has worked in the medical field for over 4 years since passing her boards for Medical assistant and phlebotomy.

With experience working in a pain management office, she then moved to laboratory work. She believes a work environment should be safe, friendly and promote cooperation so each of us can do our best.

Yulia was born and raised in New Haven. She attended The Sound School and took college level classes at Gateway Community College during her Senior year, graduating with High School/ college credits. She later went on to graduate from Stone Academy with MA and PCA credentials.

Yulia brings with her, experience working in pain management, clinics and hospital settings and is fluent in English and Spanish

Shannon is a Connecticut Native with tremendous energy, dedication, and a desire to succeed at everything she does.
​
A Lyman Hall Grad, Shannon's early career has focused on logistics, customer service, unique problem-solving, office administration and organization. Transitioning to patient care has proven rewarding for Shannon.
​
Shannon is the key liaison between TPTC and the contracted urinalysis company.

Joining TPTC in 2024, Melissa brings her passion for helping others to the practice.
After graduating from JM Wright Technical High School in Stamford, Melissa enrolled in an LPN program, as well as graduating from Butler Business College with her MA degree.
Melissa exhibits a genuine passion for assisting people, having worked in Pain Management and working with children on the Autism Spectrum and is also fluent in English and Spanish.

Khala is a graduate of the University of San Carlos, with a focus on Hotel Restaurant Management. Honing her interpersonal and service skills, Khala is an enthusiastic people-person who most recently, was a customer service representative for a medical supply company.

Exhibiting a passion for medical management, Khala went on to earn certification in the prevention of Medicare Fraud & Abuse, Business Ethics, Disaster Preparedness, and Infection Control.

Nyla is from northern Connecticut and a deans list undergraduate student at Southern CT State University. Her passion for communication, design, and web-based advertising was a natural fit for the growing TPTC practice.

Fluent in Spanish, Nyla prides herself on being intellectually focused towards being an innovative problem solver and meticulous planner.
